Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store your password in plain text.
When you use our analysis tools, we process the text or PDF you submit. This includes contracts, leases, employment agreements, court documents, collection letters, medical bills, insurance policies, and all other document types supported by the service. If you have an account, we store your analysis results so you can access them later. Anonymous analyses (without an account) are not stored.
We also collect usage data — including which tools you use and when — to enforce credit limits and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve DocuAnalyzer, including:
- Processing your document analyses across all 16 tools
- Storing your analysis history (if logged in)
- Enforcing usage limits based on your credit balance
- Processing payments via Stripe
- Communicating with you about your account
3. Document Privacy
Documents you submit for analysis are sent to a third-party language processing API for processing. We recommend not submitting documents containing Social Security numbers, full financial account numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for the analysis you need.
Our processing provider's handling of submitted data is governed by their terms of service and privacy policy. Medical bills and collection letters may contain sensitive personal information — use your judgment about what level of detail to include.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Our document processing provider — for document analysis
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Cloudflare — our hosting and infrastructure provider
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Analysis results are stored in your account for your reference. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@docuanalyzer.com.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled while using the platform.
7. Children's Privacy
DocuAnalyzer is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
