1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store your password in plain text.
When you use our analysis tools, we process the text or PDF you submit. If you have an account, we store your analysis results so you can access them later. Anonymous analyses (without an account) are not stored.
We also collect usage data, including which tools you use and when, to enforce plan limits and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the DocuAnalyzer service, including:
- Processing your document analyses
- Storing your analysis history (if logged in)
- Enforcing usage limits based on your plan
- Processing payments via Stripe
- Communicating with you about your account
3. Document Privacy
Documents you submit for analysis are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing. We recommend not submitting documents containing highly sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers) unless necessary.
Google's handling of data submitted to the Gemini API is governed by Google's terms of service and privacy policy.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Google — for AI analysis via the Gemini API
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Cloudflare — our hosting and infrastructure provider
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@docuanalyzer.com.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled while using the platform.
